Throughout your journey with Karen Hunter Aesthetics, I aim to help you feel more confident in your own skin. I offer a range of treatment options to address your concerns and deliver safe, effective treatments with compassionate care.

My passion is to deliver results that do not leave you looking unrecognisable. There are no ‘quick fixes’ and to ensure optimal results, the best aesthetic outcomes occur over a period of time and are from a combined approach, aimed at improving skin health and subtle enhancements.

I believe aesthetic treatments are an investment, and I am extremely passionate about ensuring we devise a bespoke treatment plan tailored to your budget and time frame. I am also passionate about safety in Medical Aesthetics and ensure all treatments and products are evidence-based and sourced directly from a regulated pharmacy or manufacturer. Your safety is my main concern and if I cannot help you, I will refer you to someone who can.

I love working in my clinic, set in the market town of Darwen, Lancashire, and enjoyed designing a safe, relaxing space for my patients.

Your journey at Karen Hunter Aesthetics should be a collaborative process and always begins with a consultation. This is a fundamental process designed to listen to and identify any concerns you may have. It allows a confidential in-depth discussion on what you may perceive is an issue, followed by what realistic expectations and aspirations you have for your desired aesthetic goals.

In order for me to advise on the available treatment options, a full medical history will be taken, including, allergies, current medications, and any previous aesthetic/beauty procedures; a physical examination may also be needed to assess your skin condition or facial structures.

At Karen Hunter Aesthetics, a collaborative approach continues beyond clinic treatments with carefully selected skincare products that support and enhance your results at home. Whether you’re targeting specific concerns like age management, breakouts, inflammation or pigmentation, or simply want to maintain healthy, radiant skin. Whatever your concerns we will guide you in choosing the most suitable formulations for your needs.

We stock professional, results-driven ranges including DMK, Obagi, and our own clinically developed line, KH Skin, all designed to deliver visible, lasting improvements in skin health.

FACIAL INJECTABLES

Facial injectables cover a wide range of products, such as, Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen Stimulators, Skin Boosters, Polynucleotides and Botulinum Toxin. They are used for a variety of reasons within medical aesthetics, to provide structural support, restore volume, enhance facial contours, and improve skin function. They can also be used to treat lips and soften folds and wrinkles. At KH Aesthetics we aim to provide a safe and effective treatment for all our patients and only use products with a high clinical safety profile with FDA and/or CE approval.

Karen is fantastic and her knowledge and ability to explain everything (anatomy of the skin) was fantastic. She is so patient and answers all the questions. Karen explained that my skin routine was good but we have implemented things to make this better. I’ve also been recommended some products before my next appointment. She was smart, professional and friendly putting me at my ease from the work go. Her office, (accessed by a rather steep flight of stairs) was clean and tidy. She was very knowledgeable about her chosen subject giving detailed information and explanation regarding my skin issues and how to manage them.  I was also impressed by the fact that she has developed her own range of skin care offering quality products at a much lower cost than the more well known brands.
This is only the start of my treatment but I have confidence that my skin problems will improve.  I would definitely recommend Karen.
